Admission and financial aid are separate processes. Admission decisions are not based upon a family’s ability to pay. Once a student is admitted, the Financial Aid Committee determines whether the school will be able to meet the need of the family. Need is defined as the difference between a family’s discretionary resources and the cost of tuition.

Proctor’s need-based financial assistance program is guided by the National Association of Independent Schools’ “Principles of Good Practice for Financial Aid Administration.” The School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) is used to help define our need-analysis computation procedures. The Financial Aid Committee makes a final determination taking into account each family’s resources and individual circumstances. Families should identify all possible resources for funding a Proctor education before seeking financial assistance from the school.

Loans:

Tuition Loan Programs assist many families in making tuition payments more affordable by providing the funds upfront and spreading the payments over a longer period of time than tuition payment plans allow. However, most loan providers for private school tuitions have suspended or canceled lending to the K-12 market. We suggest checking with local banks, as smaller providers sometimes have programs.

The only NAIS corporate subscriber currently providing tuition loans is:
