Alpine Skiing - USSA/FIS

One veteran coach observes, “The Proctor Ski Area is doing more for snow sports--vertical foot for vertical foot--than any other mountain in New Hampshire. Period.”

Proctor’s USSA/FIS Team is one of the finest programs in the country. With summer and fall training camp opportunities in Europe and South America, and the extraordinary benefit of our own FIS level training facility on campus, the program has sent athletes to U-16 Regional Olympics, U-16 National Olympics, National U18 Championships, US Nationals Championships and World Juniors. The balance of challenging academics and highly competitive ski racing prepares athletes for success at top-notch colleges with Division 1 ski programs.

Located within walking distance of the academic campus, Proctor Ski Area is the world’s finest high school-owned, private FIS homologated ski training facility. State of the art, top-to-bottom lighting and snowmaking, and a Prinoth BR-350 groomer ensure superb conditions. Additionally, newly widened training and racing trails offer fully netted, full length training December-March. The area hosts a variety of USSA and regional FIS races as well as College Carnivals and National FIS qualifiers.
