Coach
Stefan grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He graduated with a BA in English from Keene State College, and has traveled and lived all over the United States. He has been involved with skiing, ski racing, and coaching for most of his life and is excited for the opportunity to share his passion for the sport with Proctor and its student athletes. Stefan has been a coach, instructor, and worked races at many levels; from skiing with J6s to traveling with college athletes to Nor-Ams, to teaching beginners how to get comfortable on skis, and working as a race crew member at three US Nationals events and several speed events. The most fun he had was racing DH and SG as well as carrying out fore running duties at many speed events in the West. His coaching philosophy is to assist skiers in focusing on the process to be a strong and confident athlete and results and goals will fall into place.
