Originally from Wayland, MA, Brooks studied Geography/History at the University of Colorado Boulder before working towards a MA from Harvard University - Colorado College.  Brooks joined Proctor's Social Science, Math, and Arts Departments in 1989 and currently teaches U.S. History, Architecture, and Surveying while coaching cycling and Proctor mountaineering.  His hobbies and interest include:  cycling, guitar, and climbing.  Brooks lives in Andover at Bradley Lake.
