With just one week of competitions left in the Spring Term, Proctor's baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis, cycling, and kayaking teams all look to finish the season with some quality wins. The last two months have seen ups and downs for nearly every team, but ultimately, it is the manner in which teams handle these challenges that define their success. All four of Proctor's tennis teams have excelled this spring, posting a combined record of 20-12 with only the Lakes Region Championships ahead of them. Similarly, Varsity Boys' Lacrosse and Cycling have both followed very successful 2007 campaigns with consistent quality performances throughout the 2008 season. Varsity Baseball, Softball, and Girls' Lacrosse have also put forth admirable efforts this spring, and will look to push their records over .500 in the final week of games.
Saturday, May 17th marks the final home games for a number of teams and it should be a great day to come out and support the Hornets. Please check the "Upcoming Contests" portion of the website to see up-to-date times and locations of all contests.
One week to go. One last chance for each team to demonstrate its growth and development over the past two months. One last chance for seniors to leave a positive impact on the school and community they have poured their blood, sweat, and tears into over the past years. Go Hornets!
