The Proctor football program is a perennial power in New England prep school football. In recent years the football program has claimed an Evergreen League Championship in 2006, 2008, and 2012 while appearing in three N.E.P.S.A.C. Bowl Games, and has continued the winning tradition of Proctor football that dates back to the early 1900s. Since 2006 Proctor is 45-11 in Evergreen League contests. The football program has continued to place players at the BCS, FCS, DII, and DIII levels. We have both a varsity and junior varsity squad, and at each level the "team first" concept is emphasized.
Whether you are a novice, a seasoned veteran, or a post-graduate, there is a place for you in our program. The varsity team has an eight game Evergreen League schedule that follows pre-season camp, and the junior varsity team plays a seven game schedule against Lakes Region competition. There is no need to have had a lifetime of play in order to participate in football at Proctor. Since we are seriously committed to developing a strong program, coaches use identical concepts in all aspects of the game. This allows players to move between teams if and when the need arises.
Proctor football players are committed to excellence in academics, athletics, and our community. Our football players are encouraged to participate in other sports programs during the winter and spring, and most football players are multi-sport athletes. Football players at Proctor work hard on and off the field. They play with dignity whether in victory or defeat, and they strive to uphold the standards necessary to succeed as a Proctor student-athlete.
