At Proctor we have kids who come in with a strong ski jumping background who take the sport to a high level. Over the last decade or so, we have sent 15 jumpers to the Junior Olympics and currently have two skiers on the US Nordic combined team. Several of those jumpers never saw a jumping ski before coming to Proctor. There are many more jumpers, though, who took up the sport here, had a great time competing at the high school level, who continue to think of themselves (correctly) as ski jumpers, and follow the sport here many years later. Practicing jumping is intrinsically fun, and if you want personal attention, a jumper surely gets plenty of that.

Proctor supplies all the gear, so anybody with a skiing background can give it a try at no cost to themselves. There is nothing much more fun than floating through the air on skis!
