Season Outlook:

The 2012-13 Proctor squad is comprised of a good mix of returning and new players. Vuk Baletic ('13), Matt Field ('13), CJ Iozza ('14), Joel Villa ('14), and Sam Barrett ('14) form a nucleus of returning players, bolstered by Ed Ogundeko ('13), Kyrel Jaundoo ('13), Odaine Franklyn ('13), Jake Erder ('14), and Austin Cohen ('14). The team will rely on disciplined offense, hard-nosed defense, and gritty determination.

As always, the team’s priorities are academic excellence, membership in the community, and excellence on the basketball court.

Proctor Battles VA, But Falls Short

Proctor's boys' basketball team traveled to Vermont Academy Friday night for its final game of the season. Proctor came out of the gates hot, hitting its first six shots as both teams scored early and often. Proctor carried a 35-34 lead into halftime, but struggled to score early in the second half as Vermont built a sixteen point lead with four minutes to play. The boys did not fold, however, as Ed Ogundeko (26 points), CJ Iozza (11 points), and Kyrel Jaundoo (9 points) led a Proctor offense that would simply not quit. While Vermont hit foul shots down the stretch to secure the win 69-60 win, the boys should be proud of their effort tonight.
