4/25/2010
Warm sunshine tempered cool April air to provide a delightful Spring Family Weekend. Family weekends accomplish several distinct goals. Obviously, they provide parents an opportunities to experience their kids' lives firsthand.

E
vening entertainment included a dance at the ski lodge featuring the faculty rock 'n roll band. Actually, Nick's Other Band could be accurately called a parent band in light of the fact that Keith Barrett (lead guitar) and Phil Goodnow (rhythm) are fathers of in-coming freshmen; Eric Viandier (blues harp) is a current parent, while Nick Eaton and I are parents of alumni/ae. The band is all about participation, and this group of parents joined in on vocals for "Honkytonk Woman."
