Senior Project 2008
Participating in the Senior Project offers an opportunity for students to gain perspective and insight on their plans for the future, as well as provide an opportunity to explore areas of passion. Hands-on work in a field of their choice will enhance the Proctor experience.

Project Options
Full Project: 90 hours
Abbreviated Project: 45 hours (for AP Students, Varsity Athletes, and students needing to complete a core graduation requirement).
The Program
Seniors will spend the last three weeks of the Spring Trimester on their Projects. Students in a Full Project complete course work prior to this time, while those in the Abbreviated Project continue part-time on a modified schedule. All Projects culminate in individual exhibitions of what has been learned during the three week period. Once students commit to participation, they must successfully complete the Project to graduate.
Project Requirements
Meetings with Project Advisor (in-school mentor)
Support and supervision from a Project Sponsor (on-site supervisor)
Explanation of proposal to a Committee
Weekly time sheets
Daily log / weekly reflections
Self-evaluation
Evaluation by Project Sponsor
Discussion of Project with Committee
Exhibition of Project materials
Eligibility
A student must:
Be passing all classes
Be in good standing academically and socially
Be ready for graduation (requirements met and all materials submitted)
