For the 2017-2018 school year, Proctor welcomed students from South Korea, Ghana, Hong Kong, Italy, Turkey, Sweden, Vietnam, China, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Jordan and Spain. Total International student enrollment accounts for 14% of the overall student body.
International students should follow the application steps as outlined on the Applying to Proctor page HERE. The application fee for students who live outside of North America is $100.
If possible, it is best to visit campus for an on-campus interview and tour. We realize this is not possible for all applicants and we are glad to arrange for SKYPE or FaceTime interviews. Please call the Proctor Admission office at 603-735-6652 or e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements for an interview.
A recent TOEFL result of 90 or better is required of all students for whom English is a second language unless waived by the Director of Enrollment. In addition, we request recent SSAT, PSAT, PLAN, SAT or ACT results whenever possible. Please ask a Proctor admission counselor should you have questions about testing requirements.
Advanced ESL Support Services:
Proctor does not provide ESL courses. Students must be able to perform in a mainstream classroom setting with normal teacher support. Proctor can support a small number of Advanced ESL students support through our Learning Skills Program. Learning Skills integrated academic support meets 4 hours a week in a 2:1 tutorial during which reading, writing and comprehension skills are reinforced. There is an additional charge for these support services.
International Student Fees:
A comprehensive fee of $2,500 is charged for all International Students. This fee helps defer the costs of transportation, long weekends off-campus, and the International Student Transitions Program. The International Student Coordinator is available to answer questions and assist students and their families throughout the school year.
