John Proctor Merit Scholarship

Proctor is pleased to announce the John Proctor Merit Scholarship. Merit-based scholarships will be open to incoming 9th and 10th grade day student applicants from the surrounding area.

Selection Criteria:
The John Proctor Merit Scholarship program seeks applicants who are confident, collaborative critical thinkers who will immerse themselves in Proctor’s on and off-campus programs. Applicants must be rising 9th or 10th grade day students who have a proven record of high academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, leadership, extra-curricular involvement, and community engagement.

Application Process:
Candidates for the John Proctor Merit Scholarship must complete an application to Proctor Academy and submit a supplemental scholarship application. These items must be submitted to the Proctor Admission Office no later than February 1, 2016. Awards are granted based on a competitive selection process.

Financial Awards:
Each year, awards up to $10,000 will be granted to qualified students. John Proctor Merit Scholarship awards are renewable each year, assuming that the student maintains excellent academic standing, extra-curricular engagement, and community involvement. Students do not need to reapply for the scholarship each year.
