Proctor's more than 135 academic courses, 30 sports and afternoon activities, 5 term-long off-campus programs, and more than 30 art electives give you the freedom to choose your own path through Proctor. Which path will you choose?

While facilities, programs, and faculty biographies tell much about a school, a sense of community can only truly be felt when you step on campus. The strength of Proctor’s community comes from the depth of relationships formed between students and faculty. An egalitarian student body gives equal value to each student regardless of age. A relaxed dress code and policy allowing students to address teachers by first names contribute to the informal culture of the school. Students are treated as young adults and asked to collaborate with their teachers in the learning process. All the while, students are expected to abide by school rules and to treat adults and peers with respect.

We hope you take the time to explore our assembly podcasts and various blogs in order to gain a transparent window into our community. Of course, we also hope you decide to experience Proctor yourself by scheduling a campus visit!

Without a doubt, what makes Proctor wonderfully different from other schools is the relationships that teachers and students share. Not only do these relationships foster a fantastic learning environment, but also create a community unlike any other. I attribute these connections to my successes as a student and as an individual.
