A Sense of Place: An Introduction to Proctor offers an overview of our educational model and community — our academics, off-campus programs, the arts, athletics, and residential life. You will hear from a student panel and see how Proctor pairs rigorous academics with strong support, through our nationally recognized Learning Skills program, our AP, Honors, and College-Level courses, our Academic Concentrations, and our Off-Campus Programs.

Note: Registration opens in early September for two "Introduction to Proctor" virtual events, one in October and one in December. Check back for exact dates, times, and the registration link.

We invite you to join us for our virtual event, Parent to Parent: A Conversation with Proctor Parents, held on Zoom in January 2027. You will have the opportunity to engage with current Proctor parents in small groups using Zoom breakout rooms, so we encourage you to come prepared with specific questions. This session is your chance to ask the questions that might not get answered by the Admissions Office. What is it really like to have a boarding or day student? When can I visit campus? Who is watching out for my child? No question is out of bounds for our parent group.

These programs are integral to the Proctor experience, providing hands-on learning opportunities that allow students to truly connect to their studies. 70% of Proctor students participate in term-long off-campus programs directed by Proctor faculty and fully funded by boarding tuition.
