Assistant Head of School Annie MacKenzie reflects on the 2024 People of Color Conference, where over 8,000 educators and students gathered to explore how schools can create more inclusive learning environments. Proctor's European Art Classroom students reflect on nine transformative weeks of artistic and cultural immersion in their Aix-en-Provence home. From regular hikes up La Tête to artistic breakthroughs and cultural and artistic explorations across France, Spain, and The Netherlands, we experience their evolution as both artists and young adults navigating life abroad through their words.

Today, we step away for a well earned break. As we reflect on the beautiful chaos of the last three months, may we remember that it is only through experiencing all of our emotions that we truly reap the benefits of living in community with each other. 

Music Director Garrett Gleason is crafting a program that balances traditional training with modern production skills, while building community through varied live performances. His approach encourages non-musicians to engage with performances, creating a culture where both performers and audiences feel connected.

As we wrap up the fall season, we recognize those individuals who have been awarded recognition of their contributions to Proctor athletics.
