    2019 - 2020
    Head Coach: Benjamin Rulli

For over 100 years, the tradition of football has been a part of the Proctor community. With each passing autumn, the sons of Proctor take to the gridiron to continue the winning legacy of those that have come before them. A perennial power in New England prep school football, Proctor's football program has not had a losing season in over fifteen years, and has claimed a New England Championship in 2006 as well as Evergreen League Championships in 2006, 2008, 2012, and 2017. In the tradition-rich history of football at Proctor, many of its graduates have gone on to play at the Division I, Division II, and Division III levels, as well as two drafted professionally.

Whether you are a novice, a seasoned veteran, or a postgraduate, there is a place for you in our football program. The varsity team has an eight game Evergreen League schedule that follows pre-season camp, and the junior varsity team plays a seven game schedule against Lakes Region competition. There is no need to have had a lifetime of play in order to participate in football at Proctor. Since we are seriously committed to developing a strong program, coaches use identical concepts in all aspects of the game. This allows players to move between teams if and when the need arises.

Proctor football players are committed to excellence in academics, athletics, and our community. Members of the football program are encouraged to participate in other athletic programs during the winter and spring, and most football players are multi-sport athletes. Football players at Proctor work hard on and off the field. They play with dignity whether in victory or defeat, strive to uphold the standards necessary to succeed as a Proctor student-athlete, and adhere to the core Proctor Academy principles of Honesty, Compassion, Respect, and Responsibility.

If you have an interest in attending Proctor and playing football, please e-mail Coach Rulli at rullibe@proctoracademy.org or contact him at 603-735-6711.
