Christopher Allen is a Proctor graduate (Class of 2012), with extensive experience in college counseling, professional soft skills training, and advising high schools students throughout the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. An alumnus of West Virginia University, where he studied Public Relations, and native of Washington, DC, Chris has dedicated the last six years of his life to working with underserved populations through non-profits City Kids Wilderness Project, Urban Alliance, and New Futures DC as a Program Coordinator and Community Outreach fellow. He also spent time working with the National Park Service's Rock Creek Park as a Community Relations liaison. Additionally, Chris also has a passion for music, which developed during his time at Proctor as a drummer and vocalist with the Jazz/Rock Ensemble under the tutelage of Bill Wightman. He has amassed over ten years of experience performing and producing music for himself and others. Now back at his alma mater, he aims to continue to challenge young people and their families to think critically about the crucial decisions that make up their futures, while building relationships that will last a lifetime.

Originally from Methuen, MA, Josie made her way to Proctor Academy in 2022 in order to follow her passions. After earning both a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management at Merrimack College, Josie decided to change careers and take a leap of faith into teaching. Her educational interests include African American & Latinx History, diasporas, and cultural studies. Josie is an athlete at heart who enjoys playing softball and volleyball. She lives with her pets and her partner, Cheka.
