Originally from Methuen, MA, Josie made her way to Proctor Academy in 2022 in order to follow her passions. After earning both a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management at Merrimack College, Josie decided to change careers and take a leap of faith into teaching. Her educational interests include African American & Latinx History, diasporas, and cultural studies. Josie is an athlete at heart who enjoys playing softball and volleyball. She lives with her pets and her partner, Cheka.
Originally from Prince George's County, Maryland, Ricardo has spent 5 years leading and coordinating Outdoor Education and Summer Camp programs in Virginia before joining Proctor Academy. Additionally, he worked at Barca Residency Academy in Arizona with the Residence Life team. Ricardo grew up playing many sports but fell in love with wrestling and has been coaching the sport for the past 6 years. Serving as Proctor's Student Life Coordinator, Ricardo is excited to be a part of what makes this Proctor community such a special place. He also coaches volleyball in the fall. In his spare time, Ricardo enjoys reading, playing sports, and finding new food places to enjoy a meal.
