Proctor Academy is seeking drivers for student transportation. The driver's primary responsibility is safely transporting students to various places, such as appointments, the airport, and college visits. The applicants must have good verbal communication skills, excellent attendance & punctuality, the ability to work with others, and follow written and verbal instructions. They must be able to make on-the-spot decisions, to protect the safety and welfare of the students.

This is a per-diem/variable, seasonal position; the days and hours of work will vary.

Must be 21+, have a current NH driver's license, and pass a background check.

Ski Area Seasonal Positions

Ski Hill Snowmaker / Lift Operator

Proctor seeks a Ski Hill Snowmaker / Lift Operator to work with the Ski Area Team on the daily operations of snowmaking, lift maintenance, lift operation, and general use of the Ski Area.  This position involves working at the ski area during the ski season (November through April) and requires weekend work. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds, have snowmobile experience, manage workflow, commit to excellence, have high standards, understand written and verbal instructions, be computer literate, and have a valid driver’s license. 

Lift Operators

The Ski Area seeks Lift Operators for the 3:00 pm -7:00 pm shift.  The primary responsibility is to assist in the daily operations of Lift Maintenance, Lift Operation, and overall use of the Ski Area.  Duties include but are not limited to operation and maintenance of ski area equipment, physical work on all trails, alpine, and XC, and snow removal.

2026-2027 Learning Specialist

Proctor Academy seeks a highly collaborative and experienced learning specialist passionate about helping students build their academic skills, self-awareness, and ability to self-advocate. The successful candidate will have a background in teaching high school students with learning differences and executive functioning challenges; content knowledge in reading, writing, math, and study skills; strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to create a positive, productive learning climate. Experience with reading neuropsychological evaluations to develop appropriate accommodation plans and Learning Skills program goals is also essential. 

 Applicants must also be able to manage workflow to meet deadlines promptly and thoroughly, have a commitment to excellence, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Patience, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to successfully address students' diverse, multiple learning needs within a tutorial environment are also required.

Winter Theatre Music Director, February 2026

Proctor Academy is seeking a Winter Theatre Music Director, 2026 to support our winter theater production, Pippin. This role is responsible for recruiting, preparing, and rehearsing pit orchestra members, as well as leading the pit orchestra during tech week and performances. The ideal candidate is an adaptable, collaborative, organized professional with strong conducting skills and understanding of/experience in musical theater.

The Winter Theatre Music Director will work closely with the stage director and production team and support the artistic vision of the production. This is a two-week position that takes place in the afternoons, evenings, and limited weekends from February 7 to February 21, 2026.

Head Coach – JV Baseball

Proctor Academy seeks a head coach for our JV baseball team. This part-time position starts 30 March and ends 16 May. Proctor is a member of the Lakes Region Athletic League. The ideal candidate should have coaching experience and a passion for helping student-athletes reach their potential on and off the baseball field.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of coaching experience at the high school and/or college level.
• Ability to positively motivate, inspire, and serve as a role model to student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a Monday-to-Saturday training and competition schedule.
• Organize and conduct carefully planned practices that foster development and preparation.
• Work with our athletic training staff to ensure the health and safety of all student-athletes.

Director of Facilities

Proctor Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee the operations and maintenance of our beautiful campus.

The Director of Facilities is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising operations and maintenance functions, personnel, and equipment within the Facilities Department, including Building Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, Grounds, Athletic Facilities, Facility Operations, Energy Management, Woodlands Management and Support Systems.  Key duties include, but are not limited to:

·         Lead and implement the school’s comprehensive facilities management strategy, aligning with the campus master plan and institutional priorities.

·         Direct the work of the facilities teams, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.

·         Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on the planning an execution of major renovations and new construction.

·         Maintain standards for preventive maintenance, building care, landscaping, and repair programs. Approve work order requests.

·         Lead, mentor, and evaluate facilities staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

·         Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, environmental standards, and occupational safety.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, architecture, construction management, or a related field.  10+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, ideally within an educational or mission-based environment. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Safety Compliance Assistant

The Safety Compliance Assistant will work in conjunction with the Safety Director and Facilities department to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.    

Essential functions include but are not limited to scheduling and coordinating all inspections; State of NH reporting/licensing; conducting facility and safety checks; serving as the Hazardous Waste/Asbestos/Lead/Lead in the Water Coordinator, maintaining SDS Compliance and safety stations, coordinating with safety vendor for AED and first aid management and overseeing the Safety Committee.

Must be able to manage workflow, commit to excellence, have high standards, understand written and verbal instructions, and be computer literate.  Will be required to obtain certain licensing and certifications. A valid driver’s license and a clean background check are required.
