The work of the Facilities Team never stops, and in this season of gratitude, we take a moment to recognize the people who keep our 2,500-acre campus running through every season.

More than three-quarters of Proctor students choose to study off-campus during their time here. What draws them to these experiences, how do they grow, and what do they bring back to our community?

Since 2002, Mike Walsh’s name has been synonymous with Proctor Academy boys ice hockey. Today, Coach Walsh announced to the team that the 2025-2026 would be his final season at the helm of the program.

Gathered in the Wilkins Meeting House as the culmination of their term-long off-campus program, Ocean Classroom students returned to campus this week to share nine weeks of intensive academic work and lived experience at sea.

Like many New England boarding schools, Proctor has been engaged in an evolving conversation about the sustainability of football for over a decade. Starting with the 2026 season, Proctor will transition to an 8-player football model, competing in the NEPSAC 8-player league.
