As we reach the midpoint of Spring Break, more than 100 students and coaches are continuing their winter athletic pursuits or beginning preparations for the spring season with spring training trips. Our Eastern Skiers continue training and racing this March, while three spring teams will get an early start on the season ahead. Be sure to follow the adventures of Proctor’s athletic teams over Spring Break below!

Eastern Skiing
Members of the Eastern Ski Team continue their winter season with races throughout the month of March. Best of luck to the thirty or so Eastern athletes who continue to work hard this winter. With four U18s qualified for Junior Nationals and a number of U16s on their way to similar late-season qualifying events, it is going to be a busy few weeks. Boys Lacrosse
Proctor’s Boys Lacrosse team heads to Naples, Florida, to take part in Trilogy Lacrosse’s spring training programming from March 15-20. With 34 junior varsity and varsity players attending this year’s trip, Coach Brendan Callahan looks to establish early season team culture through practices, film sessions, team bonding, and scrimmages. Girls Lacrosse
Proctor’s Girls Lacrosse team also heads to Florida from March 18-23 to take part in the Kaylee Scholarship Association (KSA), the nation’s leading organizer of high school sporting events, programming in Orlando. With 24 athletes attending, first year head coach Coach Duncan Fitzgerald is excited to see how this group of girls will mesh and grow as teammates and lacrosse players this spring. Baseball
Proctor’s Baseball program will overlap with both lacrosse teams in Florida as they will train and volunteer in Tampa from March 13-19, utilizing fields at Tampa Prep for practices, taking in MLB spring training games, and scrimmaging other teams.
