Winter 2026 Athletic Awards

Scott Allenby

The winter athletic season requires a remarkable amount of energy and commitment from all involved: athletes, coaches, parents, athletic department staff, our facilities team, and, of course, our fans! We are thankful for all those who made this winter successful and for the simple opportunity to compete against each other and our peer schools.

We choose to spend a portion of every day pursuing athletics because we believe in the lessons competition, hard work, practice, failure, and winning with grace teach us. Each team saw groups come together, individuals achieve personal bests, and collective results that led to plenty of podium finishes, Lakes Region trophies, NEPSAC playoff bid (for Girls Varsity Basketball), and countless memories. Thank you to everyone that made the winter season happen, and to the staff at the Proctor Broadcasting Network for working tirelessly to provide livestreams of all home athletic contests. During end of season gatherings, teams recognized individual award recipients. Congratulations to the following award winners.

Proctor Academy Athletic Awards

Marvin Award Recipients

The Marvin Award is given each season to two students new to Proctor for their leadership, sportsmanship, and ability.

Blake Phillips '27 - Hockey

Blake Phillips' commitment to the varsity girls hockey team and to the Proctor community is outstanding. In her first year at Proctor she made an immediate impact. On the ice, Blake is one of our top point leaders and is highly coachable, consistently striving to improve. She leads by example through her work ethic, sportsmanship, and positive attitude. She encourages the girls around her and shows up each day with a positive attitude and a great mindset. Blake is an exceptional student-athlete who has stepped into a leadership role in her first year at Proctor.

Fletcher Stoen '27 – Eastern Alpine Skiing

In his first season with Proctor, Fletcher has consistently shown outstanding effort, held himself to a high standard, and has inspired his teammates to elevate their commitment and performance. From the moment he joined Eastern Skiing, Fletcher’s intensity, work ethic, thoughtfulness, and competitive nature and attitude have not only contributed to his success, but also raised the level of our team in training and on race day. He knows when to keep things light and crack a joke, and when it’s time to focus, whether that is on snow or learning through video review or a debrief of training. Fletcher has been a key part of the success of the team as a whole while realizing tremendous individual success. Fletcher is one of the top 2009 birth year athletes in the Eastern Region, with multiple U18 and FIS podiums. His commitment to training earned Fletcher rankings of 8th in Slalom, 6th in Giant Slalom, and 7th in Super G at the mid-point of the ski season, and he recently qualified for U18 Nationals at Mittersill which begin this week!
