If we believe our job is to prepare students for both college and life, we must continually ask ourselves what skills and experiences our students need in order to effectively navigate the human experience.

Shared experiences with others do more for community building than anything else. If we want to bridge the divide in our society, we need to spend more time working alongside each other. 

Each year, approximately 20% of Proctor Academy's graduating class go on to compete in collegiate athletics, while many others continue to pursue their passions in the visual and performing arts.

As Proctor's fiscal year closes on June 30, we celebrate a community of alumni, parents, grandparents, members of the professional community, and friends whose gifts to The Proctor Fund sustain our educational model.

On fall afternoons, our coed Mountain Biking Team rides and helps maintain more than 40 miles of singletrack through the Proctor Woodlands — building lifelong riders and stewards of community trails.

When Proctor alumni run into each other out in the real world - whether it is on a gravel ride in Colorado, at a music venue, or on the streets of Boston, their shared experiences create an immediate bond that transcends their years spent on campus in Andover, New Hampshire.

Today we share the passing of our beloved colleague and former Assistant Head of School Karin Clough. Karin was a remarkable person, and an unparalleled educator, mom, partner, daughter, teammate, colleague, and friend, who generously shared a sixteen year chapter of her life and family with our Proctor community.

Today, we highlight members of the Class of 2026 who earned individual recognition, as well as three members of our professional community honored for their service.

Five Proctor sophomores spent the spring trimester living and learning in Costa Rica's Monteverde region, challenging themselves daily. Beyond academic skills and knowledge, they came away with profound personal growth and a deeper understanding of themselves.
