Meet some of the members of Proctor Academy's Housekeeping Team, whose consistent work throughout the year keeps our campus clean, welcoming, and ready for the teaching, learning, and living on our residential campus.

The work of the Facilities Team never stops, and in this season of gratitude, we take a moment to recognize the people who keep our 2,500-acre campus running through every season.

While schools nationwide struggle with teacher retention, Proctor defies the trend. A recent gathering with former community members underscored why: this is a place where passionate people find ownership, autonomy, and purpose.

Proctor Academy is incredibly excited to welcome Dr. Nancy Turkington as its new Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Turkington shares her thoughts on the unique opportunity at Proctor to build a high impact student health and well-being program that transforms lives and teaches students how to be well in the world. 

We are so excited about the group of educators joining the Proctor community for the 2025-2026 school year because they “get it”. They understand they are not starting a job, but a life here at Proctor. Learn more about our new faculty!  

Each summer, Proctor's faculty shifts gears and spends time seeking rejuvenation for the year ahead and diving into professional development opportunities. Here is a sampling of the professional growth endeavors Proctor’s faculty took on this summer!

As we bid farewell to this year’s group of retiring and departing educators, we know their impact on Proctor will live on in future generations of employees and students. 

Just as we ask our students to learn by doing, to immerse themselves in their courses, and to engage in civil and productive discourse with their peers, professional development at Proctor exemplifies these same principles.

Community is not automatic. We are, imperfectly, in this together. It is in the messiness that the beauty of community emerges.
