As a 501(c)(3) educational institution, Proctor relies on the support of friends to achieve its mission to create a diverse learning community. Learn how you can support our mission.

Why a Woodlands Center?

A group of alumni, parents, and grandparents spanning four decades have come together to raise over $1M collectively in support of a new gateway to the Proctor Woodlands. With the goal to raise approximately $3M to construct and endow this Proctor Woodlands Center, it is now time to invite the entire Proctor community to join them in supporting this initiative.

A new barn-style building to include both wet lab and dry lab classroom space, as well as classroom space to house courses from other departments desiring to connect with the outdoors and an attached greenhouse will be constructed.

Together, we can make the dream of creating a space that honors Proctor's commitment to the natural world and to those faculty members who have served as stewards of the 2,500 acres of land a reality. We invite you to join this challenge to construct and endow this new educational center focused on connecting students to the Proctor Woodlands.
