Proctor Loses Late In The Game

Proctor traveled all the way to Boston on Saturday to take on Dexter Southfield. Lilly Vezina put the Hornets on the board halfway through the first off a feed from Hallee Courtemanche. That would prove to be the only goal through two periods. Proctor played tough defensively to keep Dexter Southfield off the board through those two periods. However, in the first shift of the third period, despite knowing they would be hungry, Dexter Southfield managed to put one in the back of the net to tie the game at 1. Less than two minutes later, they scored again to take the 2-1 lead over Proctor. Hallee Courtemanche answered back with a rebound goal to tie it at 2. Unfortunately, with 4 minutes left in the game, Dexter Southfield scored again to take the lead. Proctor couldn't find an answer quickly enough so they walked away with the 3-2 loss.

They are back in action on Wednesday as they head to Holderness to look for redemption from early in the season.
