Tough One For Proctor

Proctor traveled down to Rivers in the second to last game of the regular season. Though Rivers was strong and fast and had some very dangerous players, Proctor was up for the challenge and for much of the game were able to shut them down defensively when it was 5 on 5. That was due, in part, to great goaltending by Marina Mirabella for the Hornets. Rivers went on the power play 5 times to Proctor's zero, and capitalized on all of their chances. Proctor was able to get some chances, but wasn't able to capitalize. Goalie Maeve Corcoran got some minutes and did a great job in net. The Hornets are back in action at St. Paul's on Wednesday for their final contest of the regular season.
