Proctor Shutout KUA

For our second home game of the season, the Hornets faced off against Kimball Union Academy. Blue skies and crisp fall weather made for beautiful conditions. We came out strong, with Tony Hu and Declan McGinty making dynamic passes out of the midfield. Big-Al, a streaking force at 6’3’’, put enough juice on his lefty crosses to make our forwards lively. Griffin Smith, Cam McAuliffe, and Henri Boulerice all had bids on net before George Hildner found the net twice, leading us 2-0 at the half. Hank McCabe and Griffin Franz held together our defense and Joe Fleming made a few important saves to ensure a shutout by the final whistle. George scored a third and final goal, leading the Hornets to our second win. We look forward to our next away game at High Mowing School.
