Mountain Biking Hosts 1st Race of the Season

Three Proctor riders earned podium finishes in the first race of the season with Scott Johannen '17 earning 3rd place in the A division, Hazel Brewster '15 earning 2nd place in the girls' B division, and Alex Van Raalte '15 earning second place in the boys' B division.

More than 250 riders from all over New England converged on Proctor's Hopkins Pond trail network under blue skies and temperatures in the mid-60s. The event showcases just how much mountain biking has grown in popularity over the past ten years since Josh Norris '92 began Proctor's program. Proctor's team is now more than 30 riders strong ranging in ability from novice to expert.
