Hornets Come Up Huge At Lawrence

Staring in the face of winter storm Jonas, the Hornets traveled south to take on a very solid Lawrence Academy team.  Even with leads of 2-1 and 3-2, it took a third period comeback to escape with a gutsy 5-4 win over a very well-coached and disciplined Spartan team.  Junior Tate Singleton had a huge night, lighting the lamp three times, including back to back tallies, to fuel the Hornet comeback in the final frame.  Ville Laasonen was solid, turning aside 22 Lawrence attempts, and Cole Joslin and Owen Kuhns each provided solid efforts.  Peter Laviolette III was an absolute force, scoring a big goal in the middle frame, and dominating in all three zones.  Huge road win for the Hornets, as they climb to a #11 ranking out of 63 prep school teams in New England.
