Tough One For Proctor

Proctor took on a very talented New Hampton team for their second home game of the season on Saturday, in what proved to be a very tough day for the Hornets. Proctor gave up three early goals but battled hard to bounce back, and found themselves down 3-1 after the first period as Hallee Courtemanche found the back of the net off a rebound from Jules Warmke. The second period was Proctor's best, as they held the offesnive powerhouse to only one goal to head into the third down 4-1. With some defensive breakdowns, the Hornets couldn't seem to stop the bleeding once New Hampton scored in the third. New Hampton managed to run away with the lead by putting up 6 in the third. It was not Proctor's best period of hockey, but the girls are learning from each setback and growing because of it.

They are back in action on Wednesday as they travel to North Yarmouth to take on NYA for a 4:50 start.
