Long Trip To Hebron Results In A Tie
Proctor traveled up to Hebron on Saturday, and due to Hebron's last ditch efforts, the two teams walked away with a tie. The start looked promising for Proctor, as Caroline Coyne got the Hornets on the board just 25 seconds into the game off of a feed from Sophie Weintraub and Grace Joscelyn. Later in the period, Kara Hort scored her first of the year and added another one in the second period to take a 3-0 lead. Hebron proved to be relentless as they scored 2 unanswered goals to get within 1. Coyne added another one later in the third to go up 4-2, but Hebron managed to tie it up late with another 2 unanswered goals to force OT. The Hornets got a power play in OT, but couldn't manage to convert, and they also got a penalty late in OT and held Hebron to end the game in a tie. The Hornets are back in action Monday as they look to take down Tilton at home at 6PM.
