At Proctor, community service is not mandated. Aside from dish duty with your advisory once a trimester, we seek to keep true service (out of caring and love for others) at the heart of our community service opportunities. When individuals understand the needs of those around them (both within the Proctor and in surrounding communities), passions give root to robust community service opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. Proctor, as a school, also provides opportunities for service through afternoon activities, advisory groups, school-sponsored summer trips, Project Periods, and other extracurricular programs. Regardless of the outlet, our goal is to encourage, empower, and embody meaningful, long-term relationships with others through service.
