Here's an overview of the summer:
May: We will email your family an incoming student questionnaire form. This form has several parts and will help us plan your academic schedule, anticipate your athletic/activity interest, place you in a dorm (if you are a boarding student), and more. Once the form is ready, we will email it and link it right here (by early May).
June: Once the 2016-2017 academic year is finished, your myProctor portal(s) will look much different. Candidates will become students in our system. As a result, parents/guardians will have access to the Magnus Health Portal to begin submitting health forms. These forms are due August 1st, but it's important to start early!
July: We will post a forms bundle to your myProctor parent/guardian portal. These forms will be sent once our 2017-2018 Student Handbook has been published. An email notification will be sent once these forms are available.
August: With all the forms behind us, it's time for the fun part. Advisor and dorm assignments will be available on myProctor by mid-August. We will notify you once these assignments are available.
Proctor's role is to support each student on his or her unique journey by creating an intentional community that values diversity of learning style, not just in Learning Skills, but in every classroom.
People at Proctor are not skilled at just one thing, but several. Similarly, we don't have to be skilled at something to find a true passion for it. This DNA is why each of us decided to attend Proctor. - Chandler '17
