Proctor Loses To Winchendon
Proctor played a solid game against a talented Winchendon team on Wednesday evening. They battled hard, blocked a lot of shots, and Marina Mirabella had another great performance in net for the Hornets. Winchendon got on the board first to take the lead 1-0 into the locker rooms after the first period. They added another goal in the second, but that proved to be it for the scoring. The Winchendon goalie played well, stopping all of Proctor's chances.
The third period was probably the best period the Hornets have had all season. They battled hard, had some scoring opportunities, and did some great work in the d-zone, showing a lot of heart, blocking shot after shot and looking confident. It was a good game for the Hornets and they will look to build off that against Hebron on Saturday.
