Academics at Proctor

Proctor’s unique academic curriculum is founded in the belief that academic challenge, overt support systems, and a preference for hands-on, experiential modes of teaching creates enduring learning for students. While at most schools the individual must conform to a set of systems, at Proctor the school grows around each student’s academic interests.

Importance of Academic Planning

  • “Four Year Planning”
Academic planning at Proctor is critical due to the diverse academic courses and off-campus programs available to each student. Each year, students and advisors map out a “Four Year Plan” determining how they will balance core requirements, electives, and off-campus programs. View a sample “Four Year Plan” above, or read this blog on the importance of academic planning.
