Earth Day 2016: Connecting with Nature

Proctor Earth Day is about fostering deeper awareness of environmental issues while celebrating all that we have accomplished in recent years. Students will recognize and appreciate scope of environmental issues and demonstrate awareness and understanding of positive, creative and innovative efforts made to solve global issues. Earth Day's educational goals are to provide avariety of experiential learning activities that will increase appreciation, elevate awareness, and/or deepen understanding of social, economic and ecological aspects of environmental issues and systems, so that community members can make informed decisions.

Earth Day 2016 - Schedule of Events

April 26 - Evening Celebration - 7:30 - 10:00 PM
Students and faculty will watch one of two movies followed by 30 minute small group discussions on the movie content. Movies TBD. 

April 28 - Workshop and Speaker
